Ditte Karlovits

DO, IBCLC

Dr. Ditte Karlovits did her undergraduate work in Human Communication Sciences at Northwestern University, graduated from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, and completed her Osteopathic Internship at Michigan State.

She completed her Pediatric Residency at Georgetown University, where she received the “Resident of the Year” award. She was board certified in Pediatrics in 2008 and was certified as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) in 2014.

Dr. Karlovits worked as a pediatrician in the North Hills for four years, until her husband was relocated to San Diego in 2010 to complete his U.S. Navy commitment. They moved back to Pittsburgh in August 2012 to be close to their family.

Dr. Karlovits loves to be outdoors playing with her children. They like to take picnic lunches, play on the play structures, and go on frequent runs in North Park.
