Samantha Angelo grew up in Elizabeth, PA, and was a Kids Plus patient her whole childhood. She’s now the second Kids + Kid to become a Kids Plus and Breastfeeding Center of Pittsburgh Provider.

Sam always knew she wanted to take care of children when she grew up, and Kids Plus helped her realize that being a Physician Assistant was the perfect career for her. She says she’s dreamed of being a Kids Plus Physician Assistant ever since she was 15 years old, when she first had a conversation about the profession during a well visit.

Sam graduated from Duquesne University, where she earned a B.S. in Health Sciences and a Masters of Physician Assistant Studies.

Sam loves spending time with her family — especially Sunday night get-togethers at her grandfather’s house with her aunts, uncles, and cousins. She has two dogs — a Jack Russel/Corgie mix named Neli, and a German Shepherd puppy named Ember — who keep her very busy.

Sam met her husband while she was working at a diner to make money through high school and college. They like to go out for dinner, movies, and ice cream.
